This newsletter, will be slightly different in that I wanted to do a roundup of current villa availability, and rather than expiring on a given date all discounts will be valid as long as availability lasts. At the moment I am being kept incredibly busy by people who are looking to buy property in Puglia, so I haven’t had time to ring round hotels, but I can usually get you at least 5% off the lowest published price for most hotels and bed and breakfast, as well as suggesting one you may like, so do get in touch if you are looking for this type of accommodation.

In general, villa availability is good for May and June, one of my favourite times in Puglia as the beaches are less crowded and the weather is usually very good, particularly in June. In May swimming pools can still be a bit chilly, the sea seems to warm up quicker – or maybe it is just that you don’t immerse yourself all at once!

If you want to be right on an idyllic white sand beach I would recommend  Laura Beach House, which sleeps 4 plus a double sofa bed. There is 10% off all May and June availability. Villa Laura (sleeps 6+2) is also a good bet, as the sea is within walking distance. Trulli Vista (4+2) is about a 15 minute drive to the sea, but the pool also has a large shallow ledge which warm up quickly. It is also a really good base for exploring the area from Bari to Brindisi. Villa Valentino (sleeps 12) is also within walking distance to the sea but has no June availability. Casa Anna (6) has a hot tub as well as a pool and is within a 20 minute drive of the beach

July availability is patchy and August is worse. Nothing in Trulli Vista or Casa Anna . June 27th to July 11th in Villa Valentino plus July 18th to 25th. Good availability in Villa Laura as someone who had booked all of July and August has just cancelled. Two weeks in Laura beach house in July. Trulli Favola, good June, otherwise a couple of weeks in July and August/September. Trulli Annina, no May, July or August. Good June and second half of August. There may be availability in some of the other villas I have previously written about, but no special offers so have not included them here. Email to check availability.
